Web development for startups and founders

Morrow is a web development company in Pakistan helping founders build business websites, online stores and custom web applications. Start with what your users need to accomplish: understand your offer, buy a product or use a digital service. We help translate that goal into a practical scope and a maintainable implementation.

Business and Marketing Websites

Give your startup a clear home online. We build responsive company websites, landing pages and content-led sites that explain your offer and guide visitors toward an enquiry. Page structure, mobile usability and content editing are considered alongside the visual experience.

Custom Web Applications

Turn a workflow or product idea into an interactive platform. Depending on scope, this can include user accounts, permissions, subscriptions, customer portals and connected data. We help separate the essential first release from features that can follow after user feedback.

Dashboards and Admin Portals

Manage users, content, orders or operational information through an interface built around your team’s tasks. We define the necessary roles, actions, filters and reporting views before developing the dashboard, so the system is useful rather than simply full of charts.

E-commerce and Payment Integration

Build a storefront suited to your products and buying journey, using Shopify or a custom implementation where appropriate. Product management, checkout, order flows and integrations are scoped together. Payment-provider availability and merchant eligibility must be confirmed before committing to a particular integration.

Backend and API Development

Connect the interface to Node.js services, PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases, authentication and third-party APIs. We plan validation, permissions and error handling around the product’s requirements, including the administration tools needed to operate it.

Website Modernization

Improve an existing website without assuming it needs a complete rebuild. We review the codebase, content workflow, performance and current limitations, then recommend targeted fixes, a staged migration or a rebuild when the requirements justify it.

The right platform for your product

A marketing site and a customer dashboard have different requirements. We consider the features, editing needs, integrations and ongoing costs before choosing the stack. Node.js, PostgreSQL and MongoDB can support projects that require a custom backend.

Next.js, React and TypeScript

For custom interfaces and web applications that need flexible interaction, routing and integration with backend services. The rendering approach should fit the content and product requirements.

WordPress and Headless CMS

For teams that need an editing workflow. WordPress can suit content-led business sites; a headless CMS can support a custom frontend. Editing needs and maintenance responsibilities guide the choice.

Shopify

For online stores where an established commerce platform fits the requirements. We assess catalog structure, checkout constraints, integrations and ongoing platform costs before recommending the setup.

HTML, CSS and JavaScript

For focused static websites and lightweight interfaces. A small site does not always need a database or complex application stack; the simplest suitable implementation can be easier to operate.

From requirements to release

01

Requirements and Scope

Define the audience, business goal, pages, essential features and dependencies. Identify the content, accounts and approvals needed from your team.

02

Interface and Technical Planning

Agree the user journeys, editing workflow, data model and integration requirements. Resolve unclear interactions before they become expensive development changes.

03

Development and Reviews

Build the frontend and required backend in reviewable stages. Use feedback against the agreed scope to refine the product and keep decisions visible.

04

Testing and Launch

Check important journeys, forms, permissions, responsive behavior and integrations. Prepare deployment and verify the production experience against the agreed acceptance criteria.

Quality beyond the first impression

Responsive layouts, keyboard access, readable content and reliable forms matter as much as appearance. We consider image loading, page structure and performance alongside functional testing. For authenticated applications, the scope also needs appropriate permissions, validation and error handling. Hosting and third-party services are part of these decisions, not an afterthought.

Connected to your wider product

Common questions

Web Development Questions

What should I prepare before requesting a website estimate?

Share your business goal, intended audience, required pages and the actions visitors should be able to complete. Include existing designs or brand assets, the content you already have, required integrations and your preferred launch window. We can help clarify an incomplete brief; content writing, product entry and migration should be identified explicitly in the scope.

What is the difference between a website and a web application?

A website mainly presents information and guides visitors toward actions such as enquiries. A web application supports tasks such as managing data, using an account or completing a workflow. A startup may need both: a public marketing website connected to its customer platform.

How much does website development cost in Pakistan?

The cost depends on page count, design readiness, functionality, content management, integrations and testing. Hosting, platform subscriptions and maintenance can create ongoing costs. Share your requirements for a tailored estimate; a business website and a custom web application should not be priced as the same product.

How long will my website take to build?

The schedule depends on scope, content readiness, integration access and review turnaround. We define a project-specific plan after assessing these dependencies. For a startup, a focused first release can separate launch requirements from later enhancements.

Can you build with WordPress or Shopify as well as Next.js?

Yes. Morrow can work with WordPress, Shopify, headless CMS integrations and custom Next.js or React development. We recommend a platform based on the editing workflow, required functionality and maintenance needs—not a preference for one tool on every project.

Can I update the content myself?

Yes, when content editing is included in scope. We can use a suitable CMS or administration interface for the content your team needs to manage. We agree which areas should be editable during planning.

Can you connect my website to a mobile app or existing system?

Yes. We can develop backend APIs and integrations so compatible systems exchange the required data. Access to API documentation, credentials and any third-party approvals is assessed before implementation.

Will the website be ready for SEO?

The development scope can include crawlable content, semantic headings, metadata, canonical URLs, sitemap configuration and performance checks. These foundations support search visibility; ongoing keyword research, useful content and authority development are separate work and rankings are not guaranteed.

Can you improve an existing website?

Yes. We assess the current platform and code first, then propose fixes or modernization based on the findings. A rebuild is an option when necessary, not the default recommendation.

What happens to my existing content and URLs during a rebuild?

A migration should start with an inventory of the pages, content and functionality worth retaining. Keep useful URLs where practical, map changed addresses to relevant replacements, and check internal links, metadata and indexability before launch. Backups and a rollback plan help manage the transition. Search visibility should be monitored afterward; a rebuild cannot promise unchanged rankings.

Who manages the domain, hosting and website after handover?

Agree account access and responsibilities at the start. The project agreement should explain source-code and design ownership, CMS access, hosting and domain renewals, third-party licences, backups and ongoing support. Handover requirements can include setup instructions and documentation so your team understands how to operate the delivered website.

How do we decide the website is ready to launch?

Use acceptance criteria agreed for the project. These can include working forms and enquiry delivery, checkout and order flows where applicable, correct user permissions, editable content and checks across the agreed browsers and screen sizes. Review the staging version, resolve launch-blocking issues and confirm deployment responsibilities before publishing.

What happens after launch?

Maintenance and further development can be arranged around the project. Agree the included fixes, updates, monitoring responsibilities and response expectations in the scope rather than assuming unlimited or round-the-clock support.

Do you work with startups throughout Pakistan?

Yes. We can collaborate remotely with founders in Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and elsewhere in Pakistan. Requirements, reviews and approvals can be handled online; an in-person office visit is not necessary to discuss a project.
